YOUTH ALIVE! challenges every school of thought that says, "You can't have fun living for God!" We're a group of students, ages 13-20, which blow that idea out of the water every week! Whether it's getting together for some crazy fun at our bi-weekly meetings, held in different homes, or teaming up with other youth groups at our much-anticipated monthly LINK Rallies, you'll never use 'bored' and 'church' in the same sentence again! These are great times for food, fun, and fellowship and a chance to talk about the current issues that affect the lives of teens.
Each winter we join together with hundreds of other young people for the annual state-wide 'Winter Youth Convention' in Appleton, WI. We also attend the bi-annual 'National Youth Convention,' where we're part of over 15,000 young people from all over the United States who love to worship and aren't ashamed of it! (These rival any sporting event, let me tell you).
Our group is also a talented bunch, making up the majority of our musicians for our Sunday worship services. Our worship band has also competed for several years in the annual Battle of the Choirs, held in Elkhorn, WI. Our young people have come home with several trophies, some for their original music. Of course, there are those nights where we get together just to jam for a while for fun!
Youth Alive! is also involved in serving our community each summer at the local Concerts in the Park in Reedsburg, as well as fundraising each year to support orphanages in the United States and missionaries around the world. We do it all...crazy Christmas Parties, "stay-up-all-night" camping trips, award-winning music competitions, dynamic Prayer Meetings. There is no greater way to have fun and find meaning for your life than living for Jesus Christ.
There are plenty of places where you could spend your time, barely breathing in and out. But if you want to actually catch your breath and live your life to the fullest...while making some incredible memories doing it...come join YOUTH ALIVE!!
