What to Know Before You Arrive
Directions to TurnPoint Pentecostal Church locations:
TurnPoint Pentecostal Church has two locations: Wisconsin Dells and Reedsburg. For directions/maps to both churches, CLICK HERE. If you'd prefer to talk to someone in person, feel free to call us at (608) 524-1111. If you don't reach us directly, please don't be shy...leave us a message and we'll call you back as soon as possible!
What to Wear:
People may wonder what to wear when they visit. We want you to be comfortable. So when you visit, wear what you're most comfortable with. Our ministerial staff will be dressed in jacket & tie, but otherwise you'll see a wide range of styles from jeans to suits. Casual or "Sunday-best," it doesn't matter...come as you are!
Handicapped Parking and Church Access:
We have several handicapped parking spaces available at each location. They are close to the main entrance in the front of each building. Please feel free to use these if they are needed. Please note that the Reedsburg church is located in the lower level. There is no elevator in the building, but if you need help descending the stairs, please let us know. We have very able and willing gentlemen in the church that would be pleased to assist you.
What to Expect Once You're Here
When you first arrive, you'll be greeted by one of our friendly greeters. They will give you a guest packet that includes information about the church and a church bulletin. If it's your first time visiting, they will ask you to fill out a visitor's card so that we can have a record of your attendance. You can be assured that the information you provide will be held in confidence and only used internally.
Our Services:
Our Sunday morning service in Wisconsin Dells and our Sunday evening service in Reedsburg is usually an hour and a half long. Our Wednesday & Thursday Home Friendship Group meetings are more informal and are typically the same length of time depending on the amount of fellowship between people. For more information on Home Friendship Groups, CLICK HERE
Our services are filled with vibrant music and worship. We clap our hands, lift our hands, sing aloud, and offer heartfelt expressions of worship. If this is new to you, please feel free to worship God in the way in which you are comfortable. For more information about the way we worship, CLICK HERE
If you have a prayer need, please ask one of our ushers for a Prayer Request Card. Fill it out, hand it back to them, and they will see that it is given to the Pastor. After the worship portion of our service, we address prayer needs. At this time, anyone with an immediate, personal need is invited (not required) to come up to the front to be prayed for. If you would like to email us your prayer request, CLICK HERE
Sunday School Classes:
Sunday School classes are offered during the Sunday morning service in Wisconsin Dells only. The Beginners Class is for "potty-trained" through age 7; the Primary Class caters to ages 8 through 11; and the Youth Alive! Class is for ages 12 through 18 and young adults. What to Expect Before You Leave
One comment I consistently hear from our guests is how friendly our congregation is. And it's true! We really enjoy people. It's not our intention to delay you from leaving, but don't be surprised if once service is over that people want to meet and greet you!
It's possible that this may be your first time worshipping in a Pentecostal church. If so, you may have questions. You are always welcome to ask us anything about what we believe and why we do what we do in our services. None of it's a secret! It's my belief that we should be able to show a Biblical reason for everything we do and preach. For more information on what we believe, CLICK HERE
The Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the preached Word of God. I hope the preaching stirs your faith and curiosity of the Bible. If so, we want to invite you to participate in a free In-Home Bible Study called Exploring God's Word. For more information, CLICK HERE
It is my sincere hope that this information has helped prepare you for your visit. We look forward to worshipping together with you!
Until we meet...be blessed and we'll see you on Sunday!
